Great Places To Visit In Chicago With Your Family

Where would you like to go in Chicago IL? We’ve explored quite a few places together. I’ve got more lined up to show you, and later, I want to take you by some of the best restaurants in the city. So how about we do one more round of the top attractions in the area, and then I’ll show you some of the best restaurants The Windy City has to offer you and your family.

For this round of top attractions in Chicago, let’s start with the Museum of Broadcast Communications. This would certainly be an interesting place to check out, and there you will find the Radio Hall of Fame. It’s the only one in the US, so it’s your chance to visit a really neat attraction. The entire facility is 70,000 square feet, so you can imagine that there is a lot to see and do there at that museum, which is located at 360 North State Street.

The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool looks like quite the picturesque scene. You will find this lily pool along Fullerton Avenue. It is between North Cannon Drive and North Stockton Drive. It is complete with stone paths, native plants and a nice pavilion. The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond is said to be quite the hidden gem of Chicago. People say it’s a great place to enjoy a picnic and to take a stroll.

How about a visit to the French Market? Located at 131 North Clinton Street, the French Market looks like a very interesting area of the city to visit. Enjoy patio style seating throughout, and it’s a great place to get a bite to eat with your family. It’s essentially a giant food court based on the reviews, but it’s not your average food court for sure. Take a look at the pictures, and you will see what I mean.

The Apollo Theater Chicago is another great place to visit. Its location is 2450 North Lincoln Avenue. There are quite a few theaters in Chicago that you might want to check out. This is certainly another one to make the list. There are also supposed to be some really nice restaurants nearby.

Just a heads up, in a city like Chicago, you always want to be aware of where you are at and what you are doing. Don’t look like a tourist. I say that because I have reviewed a few different attractions for these pieces that people warn about nearby crime. One such place was the last theater, and another was a conservatory in the first article. There is no reason to be scared or nervous, but you want to enjoy yourself in Chicago, be vigilant and know where you want to go, and where you don’t want to go.
